About Us
At Fortis Learning, we believe the hobby can be more than collecting cards — it can be a place to learn, connect, and grow.
What began as a vision for family-centered education has grown into a broader mission: creating meaningful experiences for families, students, collectors, vendors, and the TCG community.
Through Fortis Family Academy, we design enrichment programs that use the hobby as a tool to help students build real-world life skills in a way that feels engaging, practical, and memorable.
Through Fortissimo Games, we host and vend at trading card shows that bring collectors together in welcoming, organized, and community-focused spaces. Whether you are looking for your next chase card, discovering trusted vendors, bringing your family into the hobby, or connecting with other collectors, our events are designed to make the hobby feel exciting, accessible, and meaningful.
Our foundation is built on experience in education, tutoring, curriculum development, corporate training, project management, and hands-on learning within our own home as homeschooling parents. Through both professional work and everyday life, we began to see something powerful: the interests that naturally capture children and adults can become tools for growth.
The hobby offers more than cards. It creates opportunities to practice confidence, decision-making, communication, responsibility, strategy, and resilience — all through something collectors already love.
Fortis Learning is also shaped by deep experience within the trading card world, including decades of personal collecting, vending, reselling, and building trusted relationships within the TCG community. That blend of educational insight and real-world hobby experience allows us to create programs and events that are both meaningful and exciting.
Fortis Learning was created to bridge the gap between passion and purpose — helping people learn, connect, and grow through the hobby they love.
Our Mission
Modern families are busy. The hobby is growing. Opportunities & distractions are everywhere — but meaningful spaces to learn, connect, and grow together are rare.
Fortis Learning exists to create intentional experiences where the hobby becomes a bridge for learning, connection, and community — welcoming collectors of every stage: the new, the lifelong, and the next generation.
Every program, workshop, and event we create is guided by one mission:
To help families, students, and collectors build skills, confidence, and community through the hobby they love.
OUR MISSION
OUR VISION
We envision a hobby community where families, students, collectors & vendors are deeply connected — learning together, growing in confidence, and building meaningful relationships through shared interests.
We want to see children grow boldly in what they love, develop confidence in their abilities, and learn how to navigate the world with clarity, responsibility, and resilience.
We want to see families and collectors feel welcomed, supported, and inspired — knowing the hobby can be more than cards. It can be a place to build skills, community, and purpose for the future.
The Fortis Method
At Fortis Learning, our programs are guided by a simple framework shaped by what we know about how children learn best — through curiosity, guidance, and shared experience.
We call it The Fortis Method.
Parent-Child Learning
Children learn more deeply when parents are involved in the learning process.

Shared learning strengthens understanding while creating meaningful connection between parent and child.
Learning Through Interests
When learning connects to something a child already loves, curiosity grows naturally.

Interests become the starting point for deeper exploration and discovery.
Real-World Skills
Children grow when they practice thinking, not just memorizing.

Our experiences help children develop strategy, communication, and thoughtful decision-making.
Mentorship & Coaching
Guidance matters.

Supportive coaching helps children build confidence while learning how to think through challenges on their own.
Community
Learning grows stronger in community.

Families connect with others on the same journey while children gain confidence through shared experiences.
